In cooperation with SPD Borovlje, the Organization IniciativAngola organized the traditional Tussangana concert at the City Hall in Ferlach. On Thursday, 19 November 2019, more than 150 children and young people joined together and sang for their peers in Angola. In the crowded hall, the song of the Bilingual Kindergarten Jaz in Ti – Du und Ich, Borovlje, Šolski zbor/ Schulchor der J. F. Perkonig VS / Ljudska šola 1 Ferlach/Borovlje, Otroški zbor I Kinderchor Rož'ce, Otroški zbor Slovenji Plajberk I Kinderchor Windisch Bleiberg, Mešani mladinski zbor ZG in ZRG za Slovence v Celovcu, echoed together with instrumentalists. The African rhythms were led by Paulos Worku with the Haramba band, which means together. At the concert, we raised over € 1,340 for a village school in Quitila, Angola with charitable contributions from visitors. The concert was a wonderful event for everyone involved. Young people could feel the importance of togetherness and that everyone, regardless of age, can change the world for the better with one small action at a time.
