In times of increasing polarization and misunderstandings, honest and respectful dialogue – especially on difficult topics – is more necessary than ever.
This is exactly where the new website and app HardTopics can help, offering an opportunity to encourage young people to engage in dialogue with those who think differently.

The website and app are intended for anyone who wants to strengthen social cohesion – in municipalities, companies, associations, schools, or various initiatives. Whether it's about religion, the economy, politics, migration, or ethical questions, the HardTopics project supports all those working with young people in promoting dialogue.

The core resource of the project is the app, which allows the creation of questionnaires. Based on the responses, the app connects participants with differing viewpoints and encourages them to engage in conversation with each other.
The website also offers additional materials: moderation tools, dialogue guidelines, ready-to-use workshop plans with exercises – all aimed at fostering respectful conversations, even when opinions differ.

What the website offers:
• Tools for youth workers and educators who want to overcome polarization
• A workshop manual for mentors
• Reflection cards
• Workshop ideas with instructions
• Recommendations for institutions on how to introduce dialogue learning into the education system
• A dialogue network for sharing ideas and strengthening dialogue at the international level
• A blog with updates on new tools and app developments
• Data protection and no ads

The HardTopics website and app are effective tools for building bridges and strengthening shared values through dialogue – especially for organizations that take on social responsibility.

Together we strengthen dialogue – digital, safe, and human.

The website and app were developed as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project HardTopics with partners Socialna Akademija (Slovenia), IniciativAngola (Austria), KatHAZ (Hungary), and Documenta (Croatia).
