For me, this year of volunteering has helped me mainly to self-knowledge.

I went to Austria without any expectations, and I ended up with an amazing experience, no matter how different it might have been if the current situation of the world wasn‘t covid19.
I loved Austria. It is a beautiful country and I hope to go back many times. The most valuable thing I take from this year is the people I met. 
I met incredible people that I know I will have in my life for many, many years. So yes, I think this is the ESC experience... It‘s meeting people, sharing moments, experiences...

For me a difficult part of this year was dealing with mental health issues in a completely new environment, but with a lot of help from the people around me, I was able to deal with it.
For future volunteers, the only thing I have to say is enjoy it a lot! Go to as many places as you can, talk to people, make friends, and above all have fun.
