With the project "Sponsorship" we support the education of children and the sustainable development of the school centres of the Salesian sisters.

The sponsorship is very personal as all sponsors receive basic information as well as a photo of their sponsored child. The sisters also keep the sponsors up to date about their child, his or her family situation and progress at school. The school year in Angola begins on 1 February and ends on 31 December.

The project also indirectly supports the school centres themselves, because they can offer their pupils a daily meal, a school uniform (T-shirt) and learning material.

The project takes place in Luanda, Cacuaco and Quitila.

The contribution for one year is 250 Euro (or 21 Euro per month). This includes school fees, books, exercise books, pencils, a daily meal and other needs (e.g. maintenance of the infrastructure).
