"Our Song for Angola" took place for the 18th time already

More than 200 children participated at the concert "Our Song for Angola" of the association IniciativAngola at the Konzerthaus in Klagenfurt on 19 January 2023. This time, the benefit concert took place for the 18th time.

Five choirs took part: the choir of the kindergarten "Naš otrok/Unser Kind" (directed by Angela Herk-Kuchling & Katarina Jonke), the school choir of the primary school Hermagoras (directed by Tatjana Tolmaier), the school choir of the primary school 24 (directed by Veronika Stern), as well as a joint choir consisting of the youth choir Plus and the children's choir of the Gustav Mahler Music School and the musik.experimente group of the private primary school St. Ursula (directed by Edeltraud Hirm). Paulos Worku and Nataša Konzilia on drums provided rhythmic sounds between the performances.

The concert raised € 4,474.92 in donations. All of these donations will be donated to the Quitila primary school in Angola. IniciativAngola would like to thank all the children, musicians, teachers, helpers and everyone who made this concert possible.
