Hello everyone!

My name is Naira, and I'm going to be the new volunteer for the next 6 months! I'm really excited to be part of this community, and I hope everything goes well.

I’m 18, and I'm from Spain. I live in a city near Barcelona called Reus, which is really beautiful to visit.

I’m here in Klagenfurt because I love helping people, and IniciativAngola fits perfectly with the values that I believe are most important. My first contact with IniciativAngola was in the summer, with the Earth’s Call project, and that’s when I knew I wanted to be part of the organization as a volunteer. I visited Klagenfurt and loved it—the lifestyle, the food, the customs, and the language.

I’ve studied to become a nursing assistant, and I've worked with elderly people and in the oncology department. Then, for Christmas, I worked in a shop in the center of my town.

In my free time, I love hanging out with friends, watching movies, and learning about art history. I love art, going to museums, and my first hobby is, obviously, painting. It's one of the things I enjoy most; my brain disconnects, and I feel at peace.

During these 6 months, I'm hoping to learn German, experience what it’s like to live alone, be in another country, and become more independent.
