Last week (from April 23rd to 30th), the organization Iniciativ Angola organized a Youth Exchange in Klagenfurt, Austria. The main focus was learning about different religions, with respect and acceptance for each one, creating a safe environment where no one would feel judged. The official language was English, allowing participants to practice a foreign language.

Teenagers from several European countries (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia) took part. It was a six-day Youth Exchange full of activities such as visits to different churches, excursions, workshops... and the “Bazaar of Cultures”, where each country presented its traditional food and customs to share with the others.

“It was an incredible experience,” said the participants.

They had the opportunity to learn and meet people from other countries—something truly special for their personal growth.

Together, we created a space where everyone could feel accepted, regardless of their religion.
Now they all take home new memories and experiences, have improved their English, and spent time in nature.
